The delivery event of the equipment, which was a donation of Paper Axon S.A., a company based in Kalyvia, Attica, took place at the premises of the Markopoulo Fire Department.
The event was attended by the Commander of the Fire Service of East Attica, Charalambos Hionis, as well as executives of Paper Axon, such as Spyridon Marinis and the Director of Technical Support Ioannis Ginis.
In addition, the event was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Saronikos, Charalambos Galanis, the Head of Civil Protection of Saronikos, Antonis Ginis, as well as a representative of Kärcher.
The donation included:
A Kärcher professional hot/cold water washing machine.
Thirty telescopic cones with lighting for multi-purpose marking.
Five large 20 litre fuel cans.
Set of tires for two Jeep-type fire department vehicles.
